Join us for an afternoon of sustainable fashion, creativity, and community in collaboration with Swap Club and Shanía!
Bring your gently used, clean clothing and swap it for something new-to-you! Once you arrive, your items will be added to our clothing racks alongside everyone else’s, and the swap begins.
There’s no limit to how many pieces you can take home, we simply ask that you be thoughtful and only take items you truly love and will wear. We’ll also have a curated collection of starter pieces available, so there’s plenty to browse from the moment doors open.
Guests with a Swap x Sew ticket will continue into a hands-on sewing workshop led by Shanía and the Brooklyn Sewing Academy team.
Learn how to alter, repair, or upcycle your swapped finds using sewing machines with guidance every step of the way. Whether you’re hemming a garment, improving the fit, making simple repairs, or transforming a piece into something completely new, our instructors are here to help.
All experience levels are welcome. Participants will be grouped by sewing experience so everyone receives personalized instruction.
