Join us for a special Juneteenth edition of our Sip & Sew, with special host Bria Renee in collaboration with Brooklyn Sewing Academy. This hands-on experience invites guests to explore creativity through a guided t-shirt bead embroidery workshop designed for all skill levels. All are welcome—bring a date, a friend, or come solo and create something meaningful.
Each guest will have the opportunity to personalize their own shirt using colorful beaded embroidery, adding your own word, phrase, or name — or choose from a curated selection of words inspired by Black culture, empowerment, joy, and Juneteenth.
Think: Black Joy, 1865, Melanin, Freedom, Culture, Loved, and more.
A fun, social event designed to connect, create, and celebrate in community—and you’ll leave with a custom piece you can proudly wear for Juneteenth weekend.
Complimentary drinks and light snacks will be provided to keep the vibes relaxed, social, and celebratory as we stitch, sip, and connect. All materials are included and beginners are always welcome
