Pattern-Drafting Bootcamp
This advanced class is designed for sewing students ready to take their skills to the next level. We begin this course by drafting a foundational sloper set. We start with either a pencil skirt or a simple pair of trousers before moving onto a fitted bodice or t-shirt sloper. These are designed to perfectly fit your own measurements or that of the sample size of your choice. We then discuss fit alterations that can be applied to your new patterns as well as your existing commercial patterns. Along the way we will be sewing samples to test the fit as well as continue discussions about advanced sewing techniques. The final element of this class is design manipulation. You will learn all the techniques required to turn the basic sloper set into any design of your choosing, learning how to modify the silhouette and add detailing throughout the patterns.

Dream it.
It all begins with an idea. Maybe you want to launch a business. Maybe you want to turn a hobby into something more. Or maybe you have a creative project to share with the world. Whatever it is, the way you tell your story online can make all the difference.
